Magnox provides suitable and sufficient OH Services according to Corporate Standards and Protocols to all its employees.
Staff provided by the Service will be expected to work to these Magnox Protocols.
For the purpose of this contract, Magnox have divided the occupational health services into core medical services (CMS), contract management (CM) and optional services (OS).
The core services include provision of advice from a Consultant Occupational Physician, including On-call’, administrative support for Magnox OH systems as necessary, health surveillance, fitness for work assessments, baseline assessments for new employees, DSE and ergonomic assessment in complex cases, case management assessments and meetings, delivery of health promotions as required and radiological emergency and decontamination services. Additionally there is a requirement for an ‘appointed doctor’ as defined in the Ionising Radiations Regulations (IRR’s).

Description of particular conditions: Evidence of qualifications for Laboratory Services ISO/IEC 17025:2005 UKAS accreditation. (or equivalent). Suppliers who are working towards these qualifications will be requested to offer a plan that indicates their milestone dates to accreditation which in all eventualities must be prior to the contract award date.
