The Council wishes to award a contract for The Provision of After Adoption Services.
The Council wishes to invite tenders for The Provision of After Adoption Services throughout North Yorkshire. Further details are contained in the Specification.
The contract will run between 19.7.2014 and 18.7.2015. The Council will have the power to extend the contract for periods up to a further one year each up to the 18.7.2019 at the discretion of the Council and subject to satisfactory performance. The potential maximum term of this Contract will therefore be 5 years (1 + 1+ 1+ 1 + 1).

The Council requires the provision of an After Adoption Service which is to be available to:
— Birth Families whose child has been adopted;
— Adopted People aged 18+;
— Adopted Young people aged under 18.
The contract will be for a period of 1 year commencing on 19.7.2014 and ending on 18.7.2015, with the Council having the option to extend these arrangements for up to four further periods of one year each up to a maximum of 4 years. The total potential duration of the Contract is therefore 5 years.
