Essex Police require a web based messaging system to enable Police and partners to deliver specific messages to specific groups / geographic areas, using a number of two way engagement tactics. These tactics will include text, email and voice mail messaging. It is envisaged that the supplier will securely host the system and contacts database. This will allow Police, partners and the public themselves to warn and inform the communities across the county using the most appropriate engagements tactics, in a highly efficient and cost effective way.
