The Council invites tender bids for the Provision of a Pay As You Go Car Club Service for utilisation by residents/visitors, businesses, Glasgow City Council and Arms-Length Extended Organisations (ALEOs) employees and other potential users.

The contracts estimated annual spend by Glasgow City Council and ALEO’s is 25 000 GBP.

With regards size of the Provision of Pay As You Go Car Club Service, Glasgow City Council have installed 37 on-street Car Club Parking Spaces within the City for use by the current Service Provider who has approximately 950 members.

Glasgow City Council will incorporate a minimum 10 calendar day standstill period at the point of information on the award of the contract is communicated to tenderers. This period allows unsuccessful tenderers to seek further debriefing form the contracting authority before the contract is entered into. Such additional information should be required from the procurement officer (see details in Section 1.1 of the contract notice). If an appeal regarding he award of the contract has not been successful resolved the public Contracts (Scotland) Regulation 2006 (SS) 1 2006 No 1) provide for aggrieved parties who have harmed or are at risk of harm by a breach of the rule to take action in the Sheriff Court or Court of Session.
