Provision of a service to improve the emotional health of vulnerable children and young people affected by a significant bereavement or loss, including parental separation, divorce or imprisonment.
The London Borough of Sutton (Sutton Council) is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified organisations, including consortiums where there is one lead agency, for the provision of a service toimprove the emotional health of vulnerable children and young people affected by a significant loss.
The term bereavement and loss covers the following four areas:
Death of a close family member or friend
Imprisonment of a birth parent
The contract will be 1st May 2012 – 31st March 2015 (with the option to extend for a further 6 months at the sole discretion of the council). The contract value is in the region of £20,000 per annum,

Sutton Council currently contracts with a diverse group of voluntary, statutory and private sector providers and encourages a range of organisations, regardless of size, to apply for this provision.
The Council shall not be bound to accept the lowest cost or any quotation. The award of contract shall be based on the most economically advantageous quotation submitted.
