Warrington Borough Council acting on behalf of Warrington DAAT is seeking interest to tender for the provision of alcohol treatment services within the Borough of Warrington. Warrington DAAT is keen to develop a robust recovery based provision within Warrington in line with the drug treatment recovery agenda. The service will work with all residents over the age of 18 across the Borough who present requiring alcohol related support and treatment and the provider will develop and deliver a range of alcohol related provisions around group work, individual based provision, recovery agenda and will work with GPs as appropriate regarding appropriate prescribing elements. Areas of work including brief interventions, screening triage and assessment, assessment for detox (residential and community) and rehabalitation will also be a focus of the delivery of this service.
The provider will work with a range of key partners and stakeholders across the Borough to ensure that the treatment and clinical needs of the service user is best met.
The contract will initially be for a period of three years (subject to external funding being available to the Council) with the option to extend by a further 2 periods of 1 year.
It is anticipated that the TUPE transfer of existing staff will be necessary.
