Provision of an Asset Management Solution

Description

In order to support the Environmental Services Departments strategy of stream-lining its business processes a single, comprehensive, department-wide, integrated, back office, ICT Solution is required that will accommodate the maximum number of departmental functions possible.

The Council wishes to implement a Solution that:
– Facilitates excellent customer services to the public
– Maximises public self-service opportunities
– Enables customers to log and track the progress of fault reports
– Improves internal workflow management
– Improves performance management
– Minimises software Total Cost of Ownership
– Supports the code practice for asset management Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy
– Increases operational efficiency & flexibility
– Includes support for mobile & other flexible working options from the outset
– Support the Councils aim of reducing its property overhead, enabling it to rationalise its property portfolio
– Integrates disparate systems into a common interface
– Is capable of adapting to future needs
– Integrates with the Councils chosen Enterprise Resource Planning
– Preferably integrates with the Councils Electronic Data and Records Management Solution
– Has an acceptable Customer Records Management module or integrates with Northgate Front Office.
– compatible with the Councils ICT infrastructure.
