Sheffield City Council wishes to procure a training consultant to provide a combined eco-safe driving project. The project should address both organisational culture and provide individual drivers within organisations with the key skills required to reduce the impact vehicle use has on the environment whilst improving road user safety. Driver education is one element of a much bigger jigsaw. The project will be highly flexible to fit with each business’ needs. The total contract value with Sheffield City Council is anticipated to be in the region of 200000 – 250000 GBP inclusive of all costs.
In addition to the requirements referenced above directly related to Sheffield City Council, the concluded contract will be open for use by the 22 local authorities within the Yorkshire and Humber region.
An estimated upper range value of up to 325000GBP for the 34 months of the contract (including OTE) has therefore been given to reflect the possibility of other Local Authorities accessing the contract.
For the avoidance of doubt, the incremental value generated by the possibilty of the 22 Yorkshire and Humber Local Authorities accessing the contract is estimated to be 30 percent of Sheffield City Council’s total estimated spend, amounting to 75,000 GBP. The total upper range figure of up to 325000 GBP is therefore based on Sheffield City Council’s estimated spend of up to 250000 plus the estimated value of the Yorkshire and Humber Local Authorities at up to 75000 GBP.
