Provision of End of Life Vehicles
Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service. Procurer reference: T4
Mid and West Wales and Rescue Service is inviting tenders for the provision of end of life vehicles to enable training in extrication and cutting techniques.
Vehicles must be de-polluted of all fuels, oils, coolants and batteries to comply with the “end of life” vehicle directive.
Due to the geographical size of the service area this requirement will be split into 7 lots to cover the following areas:
Lot 1 – Carmarthenshire
Lot 2 – Pembrokeshire
Lot 3 – Ceredigion
Lot 4 – Powys (North)
Lot 5 – Powys (South)
Lot 6 – Neath & Port Talbot
Lot 7 – Swansea
Suppliers may bid for 1 Lot or for as many Lots as they wish. Suppliers must only quote for a Lot if they are able to deliver to every station located within that Lot.
This will be a 3 year contract which may be extended for a further 2 years with the agreement of both parties.
All lots will be evaluated on the basis of 40% price and 60% quality – for additional information please see the ITT document which can be found in the Resources section below.

The Tender process will be as follows:
Submission of a completed Qualification Questionnaire along with tender documentation (ITT Part 1 & 2) and pricing schedules.
It is imperative that you follow the instructions in the Tender documentation and adhere to the deadline provided as failure to do so will invalidate you from the tender process.

ALL TENDERS MUST BE SUBMITTED IN HARD COPY FORMAT AS PER THE INSTRUCTIONS – TENDERS SUBMITTED IN ANY OTHER FORMAT WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.
ALL TENDERS TO BE SUBMITTED TO THE CLERK OF MID & WEST WALES FIRE & RESCUE SERVICE BY NO LATER THAN NOON ON TUESDAY 3RD APRIL 2012.
