Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd wishes to procure a number of quantities of herbicides for use on the rail network.
These will be:
1) Network Rail Approved Total Residual Herbicide
2) Network Rail Approved Total Non Residual Contact Herbicide
3) Network Rail Approved Selective Scrub Herbicide.
4) Network Rail Approved Knapsack applied herbicide for hand spray teams.
Suppliers are also invited to propose other suitable total residual herbicides and total non residual herbicides which may not have Network Rail Product Approval at this stage, but may have in time for the 2014 season.
A comprehensive technical specification will be provided in the PQQ documentation.

Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd wishes to procure a number of quantities of herbicides for use on the rail network.
These will be:
1) Network Rail Approved Total Residual Herbicide (approximate quantity will be able to treat between 10 000 and 20 000 hectares)
2) Network Rail Approved Total Non Residual Contact Herbicide (approximate quantity will be able to treat up to 30 000 hectares)
3) Network Rail Approved Selective Scrub Herbicide. (approximate quantity will be to treat between 2 000 and 8 000 hectares of railway embankments)
4) Network Rail Approved Knapsack applied herbicide for hand spray teams.
(approximate quantity will be to treat between 100 and 200 hectares).
Bidders are also invited to provide details of suitable total residual herbicides and total non residual herbicides which may not have Network Rail Product Approval at this stage.
