Devon County Council’s HR team supports managers across Devon County Council, other local authorities, not for profit organisations and external customers with all their recruitment needs. Services provided range from coordinating the advertising of posts, through assistance with selection processes to recruitment strategy. Devon County Council’s HR team will act as a central point for all procedures both for the authority and its external customers.
The successful supplier will need to provide the council with an effective advertising service including copywriting of some advertisements, advice on text and setting, provision of proofs for approval, media advice, media information booklets and summaries, media buying services, compositing of advertisements and monthly financial analysis of expenditure. DCC is also seeking specialised support to assist in the recruitment of senior management roles. The search and selection of most senior roles will need to match specific detailed requirements of the user department. This may mean the provision of the use of broad, original advertising techniques. There will be a need to have a full understanding of senior recruitment within local government organisations and to provide the best solution for each specific post.
