- The London Borough of Tower Hamlets (LBTH) is seeking expressions of interest from interested organisations for the above services.
The London Borough of Tower Hamlets is seeking expressions of interest from suitablty qualified and experienced organisations to tender for inclusion on a Framework Agreement (with multiple suppliers) for the Provision of Specialist Needs & other Transport.
The Framework Agreement will consist of 4 Lots to supply a number of transport services for the following client groups;
– LOT 1 Statutory Transportation.
– LOT 2 Officer/Member/Personal Budget Holder Transport.
– LOT 3 Courier Services.
– LOT 4 Coach Journeys.
The majority of the journeys required will be supporting the Council’s statutory duty in Lot 1 to provide transport on behalf of vulnerable children and adults. Many of these journeys will require a passenger assistant and some will also require accessible vehicles and special equipment to be provided or transported.
Other Council requirements will be to provide a range of journeys (including occasional executive cars) in support of officers, Council members, recipients of Personal Care Budgets and other local organisations identified in the Contract for Courier services and Coach journeys.
Organisations will be able to express an interest in providing as many or as few lots as they wish.
The Pre Qualification Questionnaire will be available to download upon expression of interest.
The anticipated contract start date is: 29 October 2012
The estimated value of the contract is:
Ranging from £2m – £2.5 per annum.
For a period of: 4 years (48 months).
Organisations wishing to express their interest are requested to register on the London Tenders Portal via the link below, where the tender documentation will be available for download.
