Description

To develop and deliver customised support packages that will meet the needs of young people age 19 – 24 that have Learning Difficulties & Disabilities (LDD) and are either Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEET) or are at risk of being NEET. Provision will include:

• Support to help young people with LDD, with priority being given to those that have been diagnosed with Autism, to develop the basic and soft skills they need for employment or training
• Support to help young people identify suitable, realistic employment and training opportunities, including work experience
• Support that is delivered on a one to one basis, where the young person has a named Support Worker who will ensure s/he is personally supported in accessing services that contribute to her/his development.

We shall target £152,000 over 2.5 years of the Co-Financing Plan on these initiatives in Lincolnshire. We expect to help a minimum of 80 participants that fall within the target group over this period.
