Pembrokeshire County Council are the lead authority in terms of this framework arrangement on behalf of the Welsh Purchasing Consortium (WPC). Consequently all documentation will be issued by and must be returned to them. The Framework Agreement will enable the participating Authorities, together with any other specified Employers to appoint 1 provider of a specialist Public Protection software solution. The initial scoping exercise used to gauge the level of interest resulted in Nineteen Authorities stating that they were potentially ‘interested’ in participating in this framework. These were Blaenau Gwent, Bridgend, Caerphilly, Cardiff, Carmarthenshire,Ceredigion, Conwy, Denbighshire, Merthyr, Monmouthshire, Neath Port Talbot, Newport, Pembrokeshire, Powys, Rhondda Cynon Taf, Swansea, Torfaen,Vale of Glamorgan and Wrexham. There was no response from the other 3 Authorities. The Framework will be awarded to 1 supplier and will cover the software solution together with the subsequent maintenance and licensing arrangements. Please note that there is no guarantee on the number of individual authorities who will subsequently contract via this framework.
