Spectrometers. Wear Debris Monitoring. The authority has a requirement for a Micro Probe X-Ray Fluorescence spectrometer. The instrument is to operate from a 240v 50Hz AC power supply, to provide semi-quantitative and quantitive analysis of individual metals down to particles sizes of 0.25 x 0.25mm to identify composition. An initial 12 month part and labour warranty and additional 4 year extended warranty and preventative maintenance contract with 48 hr call-out cover, calibration, travel and parts. Supplier will install and commission the instrument and provide training in its use for 4 staff. The instrument should be portable without manufacturer assistance.
For futher information the PQQ will be evaluated using the following scoring matrix: 0 – No answer, 1 – Poor, 2 – Satisfactory, 3 – Good, 4 – Very Good, 5 – Excellent. A minimum score of 2 must be achieved to be considered for Invitation to Tender.
