Precise information on deadline(s) for lodging appeals: In accordance with the Public Contract Regulations 2006 (as amended) (the regulations) the Council will operate a standstill period of not less than 10 days between notifying contractors of its intention to award the contract and the award of the contract. Any appeal during this period shall be addressed to: The Head of Legal and Democratic Services, 58 Nicholas Street, Chester CH1 2NP.
If the appeal is not successfully resolved contractors may commence legal action for breach of duty in the High Court in accordance with Regulation 47, within 30 days of the date when grounds for stating proceedings first arose.
