The bidder may be required, as part of the tender exercise, to submit a Bid Security of 2.5 % of the bid price and a Performance Guarantee of 10 % of the contract price in a format and from a bank acceptable to the Contracting Authority. Bidders should nominate the proposed issuing bank in advance of bidding so that a determination may be made as to the acceptability of the bank.
