University Hospital of South Manchester NHS Foundation Trust (UHSM) would like to purchase access to a remote radiology reporting service, capable of reviewing and reporting x-ray, CT and MR images. The service will demonstrate high standards of resilience, performance and report quality. The service must be able to connect with the Trust PACS and RIS systems to support a robust reporting workflow. The successful supplier will be responsible for interfacing IT systems with the relevant Trust Radiology systems. The supplier should provide the most appropriate architecture for the Trust, including methods of data/image storage, migration, management and distribution and security all of which will be determined through the procurement proecess. The system will be kept updated throughout the contract period to ensure the technology and functionality are kept at the leading edge. Documented, measurable quality assuracne processes will be demonstrated at every stage of the service. The proposed contract would be for three years plus option to extend for further 12 + 12 months.
