Description of the contract

About the Opportunity The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea’s Children’s Commissioning Directorate is seeking to commission third sector providers (including charities, social enterprises, and community groups) to deliver services across the three ‘Lot’ areas identified below: 1. Early Years 2. Out of School Learning 3. Family Support These contracts will be led and delivered by the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. Interested providers should have expertise in delivering innovative and engaging solutions within the three service areas detailed above. The opportunity will in the form of the three Lots as highlighted above. Potential providers can opt to bid for any Lot relevant to them. About the Buyer’s selection process The Buyer in this instance is the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea. This is an open tender and all tender documents (including specifications) can only be downloaded via the Buyer’s designated procurement portal “capitalEsourcing” (www.capitalesourcing.com). The anticipated publication date of this tender is week commencing Monday 10th March 2014. Interested providers need to register (registration is free of charge) on “capitalEsourcing” in order to search for this tender (if you are registered you will receive an “opportunity notification” regarding this tender asking you to express interest). Once registered, potential providers can request system assistance if necessary when searching for this (and any other) opportunity. Potential providers will have 5 weeks following the publication of the tender on capitalEsourcing to review the tender documentation, submit clarification questions (via the capitalEsourcing messaging system) and finally submit their completed bid/s. The full tender timeline will be available within the tender documentation. Following completion of contract award procedures, we expect new contracts to commence in October 2014. The award of the contracts in all Lots will be made to the providers that best meet the Award Criteria set out in the contract tender documentation. About the Buyer The tri-borough Children’s Commissioning Directorate includes employees from Westminster City Council, London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham and the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.
