Haringey Council invites Tenders for the successful recruitment and appointment of foster carers, for a period of 1 year, with the option to extend for a further 2 years subject to demand and performance. Haringey anticipates that a minimum of 20 foster carers will be recruited during the first year but recognises the pressures on the foster care market in London currently and will work with the successful provider on realistic targets.
The successful provider will undertake the full recruitment and assessment function, from initial enquiry generation, marketing through to the process of recruitment, assessment and panel presentation.
It is important that the foster carers presented for approval have been subject to thorough safeguarding checks and have the necessary knowledge, experience, qualities and skills to work across a complex profile of looked after children (LAC).
