Description of the contract

Background: Our Client has a contract requirement for a Project Coordinator to support their current project. The project is to re-procure their pensions system and the electronic staff records. You will report into a team of Project Managers, liaising with the HR Policy Leads and the Finance Policy Leads. Outputs/ Deliverables to be achieved: Set up project documentation and maintaining project team’s focus on document flows Maintaining documents control processes to comply with PMO and audit requirements Creating and maintaining the project’s Quickr Escalating risks to the project lead Taking minutes/notes at all meetings and chasing up action points Responsibility for the updating maintenance of key project documentation, including Action Log, Programme Governance Meeting Calendars and Documentation Providing all administration co-ordination for the project, including the facilitation of all project meetings, both high and low level, to support project deliverables Deputising for the PMO as necessary Skills/ Experience Required: • Experience of working in a PMO environment • Experience of successful delivery of commercial projects and programmes • Has worked with commissioners and providers • An understanding of the full procurement process in relation to large scale complex projects Formal Qualifications Required: Qualified Prince2 or other Project Management methodology Degree Educated or equivalent Additional Comments: You need to be a good communicator and have experience working on complex commercial projects.
