Description About the Opportunity:
Westminster City Council are looking to obtain a short list for competitive tender to undertake refurbishment works of the recently refurbished service depot: The works will include the re-commissioning of the Gent Fire Alarm System for satisfactory operation, remedial works to the existing electrical, mechanical, BMS, public health and Fire systems, specifically the supply, installation and commissioning of a new carpark extract ventilation system and fire compartmentilisation strategy as required.

About the buyer’s selection process:
Important factors to be considered will be evidence of similar projects undertaken.
Evidence of contracts undertaken in Car Park Extract Ventilation Systems, general MEPF remedial works and a Gent Approved comissioning contractor for works relating to the Fire alarm System.

A suppliers statement will be required to illustrate relevant case studies; references; quality control processes and control of health and safety.
It is expected that 3 suppliers will be shortlisted to formally tender for the project. After short-listing a tender package comprising specification, drawings and initial health and safety information about the sites will be issued.
All shortlisted suppliers will be notified via CompeteFor and required to provide finances, insurance and health & safety polices within a few days.

About the buyer:
The buying organisation is Westminster City Council. (Local Government) The project is to be procured by the Corporate Property Section, Capital Projects Team to carry out essential electrical and mechanical remedial works.
