The First Ark Group is tendering to select provider(s) of waste management and recycling services across 2 lots. Waste recycling sites are required in two areas: Kirkby and Huyton. These key locations are required to ensure First Ark (KHTS) operatives have efficient access to waste disposal and recycling facilities. The successful service provider for Lot 2, waste management in the Huyton area, will also have to have the ability to provide a lockable enclosed skip suitable for the disposal of asbestos waste. Full details are in the tender documentation.
Service providers need to support ad-hoc waste disposal through the provision of segregated skips and be able to accept ‘tipped’ waste brought via transit style tippers.
The contract will total a maximum of 4 years, but is on the basis of 1+1+1+1, that is a 12 month contract with annual extensions up to a maximum of four years (48 months) in total duration.
Estimated annual expenditure is in the region of 210 000 GBP. Please note this is an estimate and is for guidance only. Actual cost of Service Provision may vary dependent upon tendered rates.
No guarantees are given, nor are implied as to the value of works that will be placed with successful bidders as future projections are estimates only at this stage. First Ark accepts no liability for any inaccuracies in the expenditure estimates provided.
