General building maintenance including carpentry, plumbing, brickwork and all general building trades (this will include security works including installation, repairs and maintenance of locks and related ironmongery, electronic locks and security devices and glazing including emergency repairs and replacement).
The above represents responsive maintenance which covers the services above operating across all the Council’s Corporate building stock and within those schools that sign up to the Councils Building Maintenance Services, and do not include the value of minor planned works which may be required during the course of the contract. Successful contractors may be invited to undertake such works under this contract subject to the work content being sufficiently aligned with the schedule via a mini competition.
