Description of the contract

Scope of Works The works shall include the procurement, delivery to site, storage on or off site, off loading, positioning, installing, testing, commissioning and setting to work all of the following: • Removal of existing windows openers (main wooden frames to modified just leaving the mulling) including all miscellaneous equipment. See appendix 1 • Installation of new VEKA Double Glazed Top Swing Fully Reversible openers white internally and brown/black external all compliant with Part L of the Building Regulations • Internal windows to be finished in white PVC trim as shown in appendix 2 • External windows to be finished in brown/black PVC trim as shown in appendix 3 • Cost for new window blinds. • Provide a programme for the installation. • Provide Method and Resource statements • Provide Project Plan and Time Scales • Window and glazing specifications to show building regulation compliancy, including solar radiation properties and capabilities • Disposal of existing windows and glazing compliant with ISO140001 Environmental Standards • Waste notes to be provided for an audit trail of disposal • Written assurance that the recommended window replacement product will be available for a minimum of 3 years. • Allow for all scaffolding. • Allow for movable sheeting which will act as a wind/rain shielding for staff comfort. Please note that, to register, you must have a valid DUNS number (as provided by Dun and Bradstreet) for the organisation which you are registering, who will be entering into a contract if invited to do so. Once you have registered on the eSourcing Suite, a registered user can express an interest for a specific procurement. This is done by emailing ExpressionOfInterest@ccs.gsi.gov.uk. Your email must clearly state: the name and reference for the procurement you wish to register for; the name of the registered Bidder; and the name and contact details for the registered individual sending the email.
