Home Support Assistants
Working Hours: – 20 Hours Per Week, see attached sample rota
Pay Rate: Band C, £9.74 Per Hour PAYE,
Start date: ASAP for 4 months
Contract type: Agency
Location: – Various locations across they borough of Sandwell.
Job Description and Personnel Specification are attached, which also provides more information above the role.
As a Home Support Worker, you will be required to work with people in their own home, providing a range of care and support that maximises independence. This may include assisting people with their personal care, helping them to prepare meals and snacks and helping to rebuild their confidence.
We aim to get people out of hospital as soon as they are medically fit and work with people to prevent further admissions.
20-hour posts available, which include a continental shift pattern that includes mornings and evenings and you should be able to travel across the borough and will therefore need to hold a full valid driving licence, have access to a car and must have business class insurance.
This role requires an Enhanced Barring DBS check for Adults, also the candidates must hold a certificate in moving and handling.
