Eden District Council is seeking bids from suitably qualified and experienced consultants to assist the Council in developing a bid to the Levelling Up Fund in a short timescale. The role of the specialist provider would fall in to the following main areas.
A) The specialist advisor would undertake tailored engagement activities with key stakeholders including the local MP and key partners to ascertain their priority areas for investment for a bid to the Levelling Up Fund.
B) The specialist advisor would gather existing information available to develop a priority list for investment and analyse information available to recommend which project(s) should be put forward based on the likelihood of success in attracting Levelling Up Funding.
C) Based upon the results of the engagement activities and the prioritisation exercise, the specialist advisor would complete the application form ready for submission for the Levelling Up Fund.
D) The specialist advisor would work with Eden District Council officers to seek formal agreement from internal and external partners such as the MP to submit the bid.
