Description of the contract
The aim of the research is to provide a package of evidence on the impact the New Homes Bonus is having on the attitudes and behaviours of local authorities. The key objectives of the research are to provide evidence on: (i) understanding and awareness of the NHB policy, including its potential and actual financial impact for their local authority; (ii) how, and the extent to which the NHB has influenced local authority attitudes towards new homes; (iii) how, and the extent to which the NHB has influenced behaviour and decision making that may impact on the number of new homes being made available and; (iv) how the NHB has been implemented, including how the receipts have been spent.
