Description of the contract

The Technology Strategy Board is a business-led executive non-departmental public body, established by the Government. Its mission is to promote and support research into, and development and exploitation of, technology and innovation for the benefit of UK business, in order to increase economic growth and improve the quality of life. dallas is the culmination of a programme of work under the umbrella of the Assisted Living Innovation Platform (ALIP). The ALIP is promoting independent living and improved quality of life by making technology better, cheaper and more desirable. It aims to significantly advance the technology to meet the demand for independent living from the expected increase in the numbers of people living with long term conditions and age-related disability. For the duration of the dallas programme, a supplier is required to measure the economic and business benefits to the UK (Has dallas produced positive and sustainable wealth creation for the UK?).
