The authority has a requirement for a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to undertake research to explore the current prison officer fitness test and to obtain information and evidence that either supports or recommends changes to the current test. The research supports the National Offender Management Service (NOMS) priority of establishing positive, safe, secure and decent environments for managing offenders and delivering offender services.
