South Ayrshire Council is committed to providing high quality services. By working to provide timely, proportionate support, we aim to ensure that individuals can be maintained in their own homes, as long as is reasonable and practical.
Activities undertaken by the successful organisation should be compatible with the ethos of the following local and national documents:

— South Ayrshire Council’s Food Handling Procedure;
— South Ayrshire Council Health and Safety Policy Corporate Health and Safety;
— Draft Ten Year Vision for Reshaping Care for Older People’s Services;
— South Ayrshire Council Care at Home Service – Financial Handling Policy;
— South Ayrshire Council Care at Home – Risk Assessment Policy;
— South Ayrshire Council Policy and Operational Framework Document – Engaging With Independent Sector Care and Support Providers 2012;
— South Ayrshire Council – Adult Support and Protection Procedures;
— South Ayrshire Council – Child Protection Procedures;

The Council wishes to establish a framework of support services, to deliver a Care and Support at home Service across South Ayrshire. The duration of this framework will be 4 years, at the sole discretion of the Council. This service is expected to fully commence by 1.7.2014.
