310000 – Healthcare
Introduction With effect from 1st October 2017 Sefton Council established a Dynamic Purchasing System (D.P.S.) for the provision of Residential Substance Misuse Rehabilitation Services. The reason the Council opted to pursue a D.P.S. was to enable the Council to remain in touch with this marketplace on a greater frequency than would be permissible under a Framework. The Council informed the marketplace in 2017 that once established the Council intended to re-open the opportunity for any potential providers that may have either : a) joined this marketplace since the DPS was established, or b) were in this market place when the DPS was established, did not opt to bid at the time of formation, but have since developed an interest in providing services to the Council The Council re-opened the DPS to any further potential Service Providers for approximately 2 weeks on the following dates : a) 1st September 2018 b) 1st September 2019 The Council, under the current circumstances has taken the decision to extend the DPS until 31st March 2021 and is now opening a 3rd window. This window will open on 22nd April 2020 and close on 4th May 2020.
