The City of London Corporation are carrying out pre-procurement market engagement (‘PPME’) in relation to a revenues print and mailing service.

This market engagement has been designed to seek input from the market to help inform the City on options and further decision making.

For the avoidance of doubt, this phase of the project is not part of a formal procurement process and the City are not committing, at this stage, to carrying out such a process.

Participation or non-participation in the PPME shall not prevent any supplier participating in a potential future procurement, nor is it intended that any information supplied as part of the PPME shall place any supplier at an advantage in a potential procurement process.

Participation in the PPME will be at each organisation’s own cost. No expense in responding to this PPME will be reimbursed by the City.

This a pre-procurement market engagement (‘PPME’) exercise in relation to an upcoming requirement the City of London Corporation has in relation to a revenues transaction print, enclosing and mailing service.

The City wishes to engage potentially interested organisations with appropriate expertise to participate in a soft market test (SMT) of current market capabilities for revenues transaction print, enclosing and mailing.

This market engagement has been designed to seek input from the market to help inform the City on options and further decision making.

If your organisation would like to participate in this market engagement exercise, it can do so by completing and returning the market testing questionnaire which can be found on the City’s eProcurement portal at www.capitalesourcing.com

For the avoidance of doubt, this phase of the project is not part of a formal procurement process and the City are not committing, at this stage, to carrying out such a process.

Please ensure the questionnaire is uploaded to the capital eSourcing portal www.capitalesourcing.com by 12.00 noon on 15 September 2020.

This PPME is being undertaken using the electronic tendering system ‘CapitaleSourcing’ (url:www.capitalesourcing.com).

Therefore, to access the PPME documentation please register on the system and then search using Reference number cited at II.1.1) Title field of this notice.

Organisations must submit their completed SMT questionnaire, together with any supporting documents via the system by the return deadline of 12.00 noon on 15 September 2020 in order to participate and registration is free.

SMT Questionnaire submissions cannot be uploaded after the return deadline.

The City will not be held accountable for any errors made by an organisation in submitting their SMT questionnaire.
