Description

Delivery of 16-18 and Adult Skills Budget programmes to:

•Develop the provision of 16-18 Apprenticeships in partnership with Rutland secondary schools.
•Develop Adult Apprenticeships to support the needs of employers in Rutland and the surrounding area.
•Provide a high quality basic skills (English, mathematics and ICT) offer to meet the needs of Rutland learners
•Take account of the 16-18 and Adult learning and training needs of people in Rutland and the surrounding areas.

The successful bidder will be required to be listed on the Register of Training Organisations (ROTO), comply with the full contractual requirements of the Skills Funding Agency as well as the quality arrangements of RALS, and be subject to regular contract review meetings and the need to provide periodic progress reports.

The contract comprises all elements of RALS’s Adult Skills Budget funding for the SFA academic year 2014-15, 16-18 Apprenticeships and 16-18 Classroom Learning programmes for the SFA academic year 2014-15. An allocation for Advanced Learning Loans may be available in the event of a change to SFA rules.

An initial 2 year contract is offered with 3 options to extend, each by one year, to a maximum of 5 years.
