Severn Trent is an international utility services and environmental solutions company, with over 8 million customers and circa 6 300 employees. Severn Trent is seeking a supplier (or suppliers) from 1.1.2014 for the following:
– Urban Waste Water (UWW) Sampling and Analysis – provision of a planned programme to comply with UWW regulations on consented discharges (including collection of 24hr composite samples from approximately 279 sewage treatment facilities).
– Operator Self Monitoring (OSM) Sampling and Analysis. – provision of a planned programme to comply with OSM regulations on consented discharges (including collection of spot samples from approximately 814 discharges including both sewage treatment and water production sites).
– Sludge Sampling and Analysis – to ensure that sludge treatment processes are operating optimally, and sludge quality is compliant before being recycled to agricultural land. Samples will be taken from circa 30 sludge treatment sites.
