Description of these options: The Contracting Authority makes provision for 2, 12 month extensions on the core Contract duration of 3 years (36 months). Justification for the choice of accelerated procedure: Following a breach of Contract by the incumbent Supplier, there is an urgent, unforeseeable need to put in place a new Contract for cleaning services at Challney High School for Boys. The School need to appoint an alternative Supplier as a matter of urgency to maintain acceptable levels of cleanliness for pupils and staff, which makes the usual restrictive procedure timescales impractical.
