Warwickshire County Council (WCC) is seeking to establish a framework of school improvement services to support the service provision available to schools across the County of Warwickshire. Schools as well as the County Council will be able to buy off the framework. Coventry CC and Solihull MBC and their schools will have the ability to buy off the framework should they wish to do so. Any usage or figures stated refer to Warwickshire CC only. Providers who are already on the Framework for the provision of School Improvement Services in Warwickshire do not need to apply for this framework refresh.

II.2.4)Description of the procurement:
Warwickshire County Council (WCC) is seeking to establish a framework of school improvement services to support the service provision available to schools across the County of Warwickshire. Schools as well as the County Council will be able to buy off the framework.
WCC has an experienced team providing high quality support and advice to schools. The aim of the framework is to provide consultancy support and advice alongside the WCC team to improve the performance of schools throughout the Warwickshire County Council area. Warwickshire County Council is seeking to identify individuals and organisations, who share our vision of making a difference to the lives of children and young people through increased achievement. It is for this reason that WCC is seeking to develop a framework of suppliers to provide school improvement services. Providers who are already on the Framework for the provision of School Improvement Services in Warwickshire do not need to apply for.

The initial contract term will be 2 years however the Authority reserves the right to extend the contract by further periods not exceeding 24 months.

The Council will undertake its financial assessment of the tendering organisation (and if considered necessary by the Council, any partners within a consortium bid) based on its own evaluation of the Tenderers most recent 2 years accounts (or if 2 years accounts are not available, equivalent evidence which confirms financial viability). The assessment of accounts will be supported by an independent credit reference report from Creditsafe where this is available. The Council may also impose a Bond or Performance Guarantee on the successful Tenderer. Minimum level(s) of standards possibly required: Evidence as stated in the tender documentation.
