This procurement consists of two lots and the Authority’s intention is to achieve better value for money by, if possible, awarding both the lots to a single supplier and thereby maintaining the flexibility of terminating one of the contracts in future. However, the Authority reserves the right to award each of the contracts to different suppliers.
Lot 1 – Contractor is to operate, manage and maintain Colnbrook Immigration Removal Centre.
Lot 2 – Contractor is to operate, manage and maintain Harmondsworth Immigration Removal Centre.

Colnbrook and Harmondsworth Immigration Removal Centres are run under the Immigration Act 1971 and are places in which a person may be detained pursuant to a direction made by the Secretary of State. Colnbrook and Harmondsworth Immigration Removal Centres provide safe and secure short-term accommodation for Detainees. Please note that the Authority reserves its right to change the detainee profile at the centres at its absolute discretion, in accordance with its requirements.

Section III: Legal, economic, financial and technical information
Minimum level(s) of standards possibly required: It is anticipated that the Respondent or its parent organisation will have an annual turnover of 120 000 000 GBP; however, the Authority may use its discretion to waive this requirement, having regard to other financial and non-financial factors.

Additional information about electronic auction: It is anticipated that these contracts will be awarded to one supplier; however post electronic auction, the Authority will assess whether a single supplier with two contracts, or two suppliers with one contract each, offer better value for money and an award decision will be made accordingly.

All dates and times are provisional only. The Authority is not liable for any costs incurred by those expressing interest in tendering for this contract. The Authority reserves the right not to award a contract or to award contract(s) for part or parts of the services only.
