Description of the contract

Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and Rutland District intends to use Flexible Support Fund to provide a Self Efficacy Advocacy Support Service for JSA customers formerly on Incapacity Benefit /Employment Support Allowance by reason of mental ill health (either as a primary or underlying condition). The service will be targeted towards JSA customers presenting with stable (mild to moderate) mental health conditions already diagnosed via relevant health agencies; or JSA customers requesting support, who have an underlying mental health condition, who are not currently engaged with mental health services. The provision will offer a personalised advocacy service aimed at supporting JSA customers in their transition from IB/ESA into employment via a self efficacy model.
