Tenderers may bid for one, some or all of the Lots; provided that they pass the selection criteria applicable to each Lot that they express an interest in bidding for. In respect of any Lot, tenderers will be selected and any contract awarded based on the selection criteria and award criteria in respect of any such Lot, as set out in the Selection Submission and the ITT Questions. Tenderers should provide a Selection Response and Tender Submission in respect of each Lot for which it wishes to be considered.
In the first instance, Sellafield will evaluate Selection Responses received in respect of Lot 1 only. If five or more tenderers are deemed to have met the minimum standards required with respect to the Lot 1 Selection Submission then Sellafield shall conduct the remainder of the Procurement on the basis of Lot 1 only. In such circumstances Sellafield shall not consider any Tenders or award any contracts in respect of any other Lots provided always that Sellafield shall be under no obligation to award any contract in respect of Lot 1 in any event. If four or less tenderers are deemed to have met the minimum standards required with respect to the Lot 1 Selection Submission then Sellafield shall not consider any Tender Submissions or award any contract in respect of Lot 1. In such circumstances, Sellafield shall consider all Tenders and award contracts in respect of Lot 2 to Lot 6 (inclusive) provided always that Sellafield shall be under no obligation to award any contract in respect of any Lots in any event. If Sellafield so decides to award a contract in respect of any particular Lot it shall be awarded to a single tenderer only. There shall be no limit however on the number of Lots in respect of which a single tenderer may be awarded a contract.
