Description of the contract

In January 2012, Government Digital Service (GDS) released the beta version of GOV.UK, the Government’s single domain on the web. It is expected that the fully developed version of the site will consolidate the government’s hundreds of websites into a single domain, and in the process replace the majority of government websites, including Directgov and Business Link. During the beta period, GDS is collecting feedback from the general public and other government departments.
