How to apply

Information and formalities necessary for evaluating if requirements are met: Suppliers wishing to participate in this tender shall be required to register onto the Bravo Solutions E-Tendering System at https://kentpolice.bravosolution.co.uk This website allows suppliers to view the full details of the Contract (Project 17045) and electronically register their interest in tendering for this requirement. A Pre-Qualification Questionnaire, issued by Procurement Services on behalf Of Essex Police will be made available for completion. In this questionnaire you will be asked for information to enable assessment of your application to carry out the works under Sections 23-26 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2006. Additionally, applicants must be aware they will be responsible for ensuring both Management and Operatives working on this contract shall be subject to Security Vetting. All parties who have registered on Bravo expressing an interest in this project will have access via Bravo to an electronic Pre Qualification Questionnaire, for completion. The completed PQQ documents must be returned via the Bravo e-tendering system no later than 20th May 2013(10:00) All tender documentation will be accessible via the Bravo portal. The responses provided in the questionnaire will enable the necessary evaluation to be undertaken as part of the procedure for selecting contractors to be invited to tender. It is Envisaged to the top six scoring suppliers at PQQ stage will be invited to participate in this tender. The scope of this requirement may also extend to Kent Police during the contract period. Kent Police may decide not to award their service provision during this contract period, there is no guarantee that any successful supplier would be awarded further works, as part of this procurement. The award for this contract will initially be for The Police and Crime Commissioner for Essex only. The Kent Police and Crime Commissioner upon decision of a requirement for related Servicing and Maintenance of Automatic Gates & Barriers requirements will be so under the scope, terms and conditions and within the contract period as stated in the corresponding tender documentation. Any such requirement for related Servicing and Maintenance of Automatic Gates & Barriers for Kent Police will be conducted at the discretion of Procurement Services with the awarded bidder from this procurement exercise in accordance with the terms of contract and contracted rates as a variation of services.
