II.2.4)Description of the procurement:

We are looking to appoint an organisation with a proven track record in delivering successful competitions and challenge prizes, ideally in GB regulated sectors (“the Delivery Partner”). The Delivery Partner will:

— ensure the competition is set up and marketed to attract the most effective, actionable ideas to benefit disengaged and vulnerable consumers,

— attract, through appropriate channel marketing, a wide range of the right applicants whilst increasing the profile of Ofgem’s objective and the positive messaging on the significant potential benefits across the industry, field experts, social purpose organisations and innovative start-ups,

— develop and extend Ofgem’s existing innovation capability; and create lasting benefits for consumers by inspiring regulators overseeing markets in which data portability could spur greater innovation and competition,

— the challenge shall be designed to run over a 15 month period, from end to end, with possibility of extension, subject to further funding becoming available.
