Provision of pre cast panels that are designed to be linked together to proved large CSO Chambers jointing systems between panels are required to be as per BS EN 681.
Option of installation service offered and or installation training as per manufacturers instruction.

II.2.1)Total quantity or scope:

Must be able to provide a supply only and or supply and install service as required for pre cast concrete chambers and panels in line with all relevant CDM regulations.
Full structural design service offered, inclusive of all required drawings.
The provision of O and M Manuals for SW at end of each project, in a format to be confirmed.
Pre cast concrete panels and any other components that form part of the homogenous structure to recognised SW, BS and EU specifications:
Provision of single pre cast chambers that are able to be delivered complete to site.
Provision of pre cast panels that are designed to be linked together to proved large CSO Chambers jointing systems between panels are required to be as per BS EN 681.
Option of installation service offered and or installation training as per manufacturers instruction.
The design life of these structures are required as stated in SW Standards and Specifications Civil Engineering and building works including pipelines a minimum design life of 60 years.
Full delivery options offered, this may include the provision of a lifting strategy loading and unloading as per H and S requirements, the hire of crane, delivery vehicles and structures etc.
All panels and or completed units must be provided with Approved lifting eyes to EU accreditations both to facilitate the initial installation and subsequent removals in the future re maintenance issues etc.
SW Standards and Specifications includes reference to the Civil Engineering Specification for the Water Industry CESWI 6th edition. Cl 2.103 precast concrete tanks refers to BS 8007. SW is currently assessing an updated CESWI 7th document and will be seeking to implement in 1 to 2 months. Cl 2.102 precast concrete tanks refers to BS EN 1992 to 93. All successfull tenderers shall ensure that they comply with the new regulations CESWI 7 once in place, and indeed throughout the lifetime of the framework any future legal building amendements.
Quality System Requirements.
In all cases manufacturers are required to operate a management system that complies with BS EN ISO 9001.

Moulds and ownership of where sizings are specified by SW.

All prices quoted shall be in sterling (UK) and all payments shall be made in Sterling (UK). Payment shallbe made on the basis of completed services in accordance with the agreed contract rates, schedules andconditions of contract.

Responses to Pre-Qualification Questionnaires will be assessed and used to short-list applicants who will be invited to proceed to the next stage of the tender process.

It is anticipated that 6 to 9 candidates will be invited to tender stage. This contract notice does not preclude Scottish Water from issuing other contract notices for specific requirements from time to time. The contents of this Notice are sufficient for submissions of pre-qualification data all other communications are discouraged. Responses to the OJEU Notice will be evaluated based on Section III.2 and only successful applicants following PQQ evaluation will be invited to submit a tender. Scottish Water reserves the right to divide the scope of the contract into lots at tender and contract award stages as it deems appropriate. Applicants who fail to supply all of the information requested in response to this Notice or any resulting tender exercise may risk elimination.

Precise information on deadline(s) for lodging appeals: In accordance with regulation 33 of The UtilitiesContracts (Scotland) Regulations 2006 as amended (the Regulations) Scottish Water will incorporatea minimum of 10 calendar day standstill period between the communication of the award decision andthe decision to enter into the contract with the successful tenderer. A breach of any duty owed under theRegulations is actionable by any economic operator which, in consequence of the breach, suffers, orrisks suffering, loss or damage and such proceedings may be brought either the Sheriff Court or Court ofSession. Any such action must be brought within 3 months from the date when grounds for the bringing ofproceedings first arose unless the Court considers that there is good reason for extending the period withinwhich proceedings may be brought.
