All prospective yards expressing an interest will be required to submit Tariff Rates and complete a pre qualification questionnaire (PQQ), which can be accessed via PCS -Tender.
The completed questionnaire and tariff rates must be submitted by 12:00 hours (noon) on 19th July 2013.
It is estimated the invitation to tenders to suitable yards will be issued before end of July 2013. Bids may be considered as bundles for a number of similar types of vessels. Details of the make up of the lots will be made available to tenderers with the invitation to tender. Each contract will be awarded for each dry docking repair period with the possibility for up to 3 further dry docking repair periods. This will be advised to tenderers in the invitation to tender. Vessels are subject to specific operational areas contained in the load line certificate for each vessel. Any contractor will require to be located within the geographical restrictions of the vessel as follows, for dry docking, 9 vessels between 85-101m are allowed to sail within West Coast of Scotland, UK Ports and Northern Europe, 5 vessels between 49-72m are allowed to sail in West Coast of Scotland and UK ports and 3 vessels 54m are allowed to sail in West Coast of Scotland, subject to reasonable weather and MCA approval.
