- SHORT BREAK GRANTS
The Disability Joint Commissioning Group (DJCG) has an agreed Joint Commissioning Strategy which sets out the intent of the DJCG to disburse certain funds from Early Intervention Short Break Grant (EISBG) to third parties (who may be from the commercial, voluntary or public sectors) to carry out certain activities that are intended to make a difference to outcomes for disabled children and young people.
The grants up to £1,000 per organisation are to deliver Short Breaks for Disabled Young People, Parents and Carers.
The aim of this grant fund is to provide the opportunity for organisations and groups to secure some additional funding from the DJCG in partnership with the Making Changes Together (MCT) parents steering group to deliver initiatives for and with children and young people and their families that will make a real difference and which will enable short breaks to be accessed.
The primary purpose of this fund is to support existing services, organisations or groups to expand and build upon innovative and deliver opportunities for disabled children, young people (0 – 19 yrs) and their families. - Contact:
