Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking to set a framework of suppliers to deliver its requirements for short term or spot hire vehicles. This will be a 4 year agreement and it will cover the hire of a range of vehicles which will include but not be limited to
— small, medium and large cars,
— minibuses and people carriers,
— small vans and larger vans over 3,5 tonnes,
— tipper vans and other vehicles over 3,5 tonnes.
The anticipated value of this contract will be approximately1m GBP and will be in used by Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council corporate transport unit to support the needs of the whole of Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council. However this does not carry any guarantee of turnover and any estimated volumes of business are indicative and may vary upwards or downwards depending on actual future needs.
The Contracting Authorities who will be entitled to call-off orders under the agreement are all of the local authorities in the United Kingdom, details of which can be found in the Municipal Yearbook published by Hemming Information Services, a division of the Hemming Group Limited, whose e-mail address is: myb@hgluk.com.
