Description of the contract

Information Management Services provides a range of information management related services to the Home Office and its agencies. This includes the review of historic paper files and the destruction of those not deemed worthy of permanent preservation at The National Archives. A secure, on-site, shredding service is required to deal with such files. To bulk shred files as required (this is expected to be on a weekly basis) at the Home Office HQ building based at 2 Marsham Street, London SW1P 4DF. Files will needed to be shredded in line with Home Office Departmental Security Unit guidelines – see ‘Security Requirements’ below. Please see attached document for full description.

How to apply instructions to suppliers: Potential Providers must first be registered on the Government Procurement Service e-Sourcing Suite. If you have not yet registered on the eSourcing Suite, this can be done online at by following the link ‘Register for GPS eSourcing’. Please note that, to register, you must have a valid DUNS number (as provided by Dun and Bradstreet) for the organisation which you are registering, who will be entering into a contract if invited to do so at the Invitation to Tender stage.
