The Fund requires a service provider to deliver an evaluation and learning contract for the Silver Dreams Fund which was launched on 30.9.2011.
The central focus of the Silver Dreams fund is about learning by testing novel approaches which support older people through transitions in their lives. The fund will award grants to 30 pilot projects who will deliver activities between 12 to 18 months from April 2012.
This contract will be a critical component of the Silver Dreams fund as the successful service provider will support projects to complete their own self evaluation, develop (or implement) common indicators for projects to measure impact and aggregate learning from across the programme to identify good practice which will be shared with projects to help them improve their services and in turn deliver better outcomes for beneficiaries. The contract will also generate learning about the impact of the programme for BIG and wider stakeholders.
