Description of the contract

The NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership – Procurement Services (NWSSP) hosted by Velindre NHS Trust is requesting tenders on behalf of the Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust (WAST), for a Radio Site Audit to be performed to enable a decommissioning programme to be developed.

The Trust has changed its radio network from analogue to digital and therefore has a requirement for an audit of all it’s legacy VHF and UHF Radio Sites prior to de-commissioning these sites.

It is intended that the full audit will provide sufficient details to allow a comprehensive specification to be created for a second tender i.e. for the de-commissioning work which is to be carried out on successful award of tender.

The deadline for submission of the completed Invitation to Tender (“ITT”) is 12:00pm, 15th April 2013.

The Contracting Authority will not accept requests for or to submit “ITTs” after this date.

Bidders who access the “ITT” will be provided with an Information for Bidders & Scoring Methodology document which provides outline information in relation to the services being procured and how each tender will be evaluated.

All tender costs and liabilities incurred by bidders shall be the sole responsibility of bidders.

The Contracting Authority reserves the right to award the contract in whole or in part, or anul the tendering process and not award any contract.

All documents to be priced in sterling and all payments to be made in sterling.
